Liard Aboriginal Women’s Society (LAWS)
The Liard Aboriginal Women's Society is a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering Indigenous women in the Liard region of the Yukon Territory. Through advocacy, education, and culturally relevant programming, we strive to address the unique challenges faced by Indigenous women and promote their social, economic, and cultural wellbeing. Our organization offers a range of services and initiatives aimed at fostering empowerment, resilience, and self-determination among Indigenous women and their families. From support groups and skill-building workshops to advocacy and community events, we work collaboratively to create positive change and strengthen the voices of Indigenous women in the Liard region. Join us in our mission to build a more inclusive and equitable society where Indigenous women can thrive.
